LAKE MARY, FL (Jan. 19, 2017) – Zero Friction, maker of technologically advanced performance golf products, is returning as a Support Sponsor of the 24th Annual ING Media Awards contest.

First-place winners in the writing, broadcast and photography categories will receive a Johnny Miller Motion-Fit golf glove from Zero Friction.

Zero Friction established the performance golf tee market, creating the first and only performance tee to ever carry the PGA TOUR logo. Zero Friction’s most recent success story is in the golf glove segment. The company’s colorful line of compression-fit gloves for men, women and juniors takes the guesswork out of sizing. Compression-fit technology means a universal fit within the various models, and the glove that will hold its shape longer than any on the market.

Hall of Famer Johnny Miller was so impressed when introduced to Zero Friction in 2015 that he took a stake in the company and helped design the Johnny Miller Motion-Fit Glove. The company’s most recent product, the DistancePro GPS Golf Glove, includes a light-weight GPS device attached to the flap of the glove.

The non-profit International Network of Golf conducts the contest, recognizing the best and brightest among its media members. Media members can join ING and become eligible for next year’s contest by visiting www.inggolf.com and click on Membership.

Of the dozen categories in the ING Media Awards, seven are for writers: Travel Writing, Business Writing, Opinions/Editorials, Profile Writing, Equipment/Apparel Writing, Competition Coverage, and Books.
