(January 18, 2017) – Today, COBRA PUMA GOLF announced the signing of Claude Harmon III, director of instruction at the Floridian, and one of the most celebrated golf instructors in the world. As part of the multi-year partnership, Harmon will represent COBRA Golf and PUMA Golf as an ambassador, officially wearing the brands apparel, footwear and accessories for all of his appearances along with a full bag of COBRA equipment.
Harmon, who is currently ranked 22nd on Golf Digest’s 50 Best Teachers in America and a Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor, has been the Director of Instruction at the Butch Harmon Floridian since 2011. Prior to that, he worked and coached around the world in over 20 countries and on five continents. Steeped in tradition both his grandfather, 1948 Masters Champion Claude Harmon, and father Claude “Butch” Harmon Jr., have been the dominant teachers of their generation. The Harmon family pedigree has been the perfect foundation for Claude to build his knowledge of golf instruction. His teaching philosophy combines “old school” teaching concepts in a “new school” fashion. His current and former students include Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Ernie Els, Adam Scott, Trevor Immelman, Graeme McDowell and Yani Tseng. He is a regular analyst/commentator for Sky Sports Golf.
