Tournament scoring and leaderboard display soon available in E-Z-Go® cars equipped with TKVGPS displays
Orlando, FL, January 19, 2017: Golf Genius Software, the market leader in tournament management, and TKVGPS, a leading provider of fleet management and GPS solutions, today announced that the cloud integration between the Golf Genius tournament management system and the TKVGPS system will become available beginning February 15, 2017. For golf facilities using E-Z-GO cars equipped with TKVGPS displays together with Golf Genius, golfers can easily enter hole-by-hole scores into the car’s GPS unit and view a complete leaderboard of all tournaments in progress. This exciting new feature will be made available to customers at no additional cost.
One of the major features of Golf Genius is support for scoring multiple tournaments in a single round (e.g., best two balls of a foursome, a skins game and a low net by flight tournament). Golf Genius also handles tournaments over multiple rounds, such as multi-day member-guest events and club championships. With this newly announced integration, golfers are prompted to enter scores as their cars move away from a green. As players post their scores, Golf Genius continuously updates all event leaderboards, and the most current leaderboard is transmitted to all cars so that golfers can get a comprehensive look at all the action taking place out on the course, with scores and results displayed for all event tournaments.
