Oakmont Country Club Pro Shop Selects Open-to-Buy Guy As Inventory Consultant

Alan Fisher, Managing Director of Open-to-Buy Guy, LLC, (OTB Guy) is pleased to announce that Devin Gee, PGA Head Golf Professional at Oakmont Country Club, has selected OTB Guy to set inventory and buying plans, provide analysis and retail consulting services.

OTB Guy is exhibiting at the PGA Show in Booth 3081. OTB Guy is a web application that takes history from the golf shop and calculates plans for sales, inventory, and open-to-buy. It also provides two key analysis reports that display trends using a buyer’s statistic comprised of stock turn rate, profit changes and comparisons to prior periods.

“Devin and I began officially working together in October,” says Fisher. “I am thoroughly convinced he will succeed beyond his dreams with his business acumen and seeing that he is surrounding himself with professionals who are empowered to assist Devin on this path.”

Moreover, it’s nice to be able to look at one-page reports and not be inundated with 500-page reports.”

Fisher adds, “I’ve worked with buyers in some of the finest resorts and shops across the US and Europe since 1985. They needed better tools for planning and analysis. Last year, I made the decision to completely automate my process so my clients could save time as well as reduce inventory investment and increase profit dollars with simple one-page reports.”
