Volvik, the #1 Color Golf Ball on Tour, announced today the company will launch their new VIVID Optic collection of golf sunglasses at the 2017 PGA Merchandise Show January 25-27.
The VIVID Optics is a new line of eyewear designed specifically for golf by the leader in the marathon running sunglass market, Naute Sport LLC. Naute Sport has entered into a licensing deal with Volvik to manufacture the Volvik VIVID Optics line in order to penetrate the golf market.
Volvik will be unveiling three new models that are engineered specifically for golf and to perfectly co-exist with any golfer playing their bright, matte finish golf balls.

The new VIPER and VIBE models will be on display at Booth #717 of the PGA Merchandise Show while the new Just Call Me Matte model based off the finish of the best-selling VIVID golf ball will be shown in renderings at the Volvik booth.

All of the lenses in the VIVID Optic collection are high definition designed for optical clarity and enhanced contrast for reading greens and depth perception. Three different HD lenses will be available in the three models, all of which have been chosen to help further accentuate the VIVID matte finish golf ball in the air and on the ground.
The Green lens offers heightened contrast while keeping colors of the VIVID ball true. The Smoke lens does not alter colors and flattens light to maintain normal depth perception. The Amber lens amplifies all available light and colors of the VIVID golf balls no matter what time of day, making it great for overcast days.
The technology behind the HD Polarized lenses available in each model were designed to maximize the ability to read greens by providing better depth perception by allowing in reflected light, but with a polarizing Glare Guard filter that helps manage short wavelength light so there is minimized glare. The TECH 2G™ frames feature the durable and lightweight Grilamid Polyamide material known for its high transparency, good chemical resistance, low moisture absorption and great flexible bending strength, giving the golfers the best comfort on the course.
Where possible, the VIVID Optics frames incorporate double injected soft rubber for comfort and slippage control during the swing. The VIVID Optics frames also use a soft rubber for the nose pads, many of which are adjustable.
Each model features an ultra-light and ultra-comfortable design that is perfect for golf and each comes in three different colors to help match the golf ball color to the frame when desired.
The Just Call Me Matte frame represents a true hybrid golf sunglass of the classic Wayfarer style, made with a lightweight and comfortable fit that is perfect for golf. A perfect mix of sport and style make the Just Call Me Matte a great all around sunglass designed specifically for golf. Just Call Me Matte is the perfect combination of style and function. Available colors: Matte Black and Gold, Matte Red and Black and Translucent Gray. The Just Call Me Matte will retail for $69.99 in HD lenses and $89.99 in HD Polarized. It will begin shipping to Volvik retailers in April.
The VIPER frame uses a wider temple to block more sun and looks great while providing the most UV protection possible. The VIBE is the lightest of the three models and is a true golf specific frame based on the rigors of the game. It offers extreme comfort while still offering bright colors and style that define your golf game. Relax with the comfort and lightweight of the VIBE, which will retail for $59.99 in HD lenses and $79.99 in Polarized. It will begin shipping to Volvik retailers in April.
