MEMPHIS, Tenn. (January 30, 2017) – The company that brought you the #1 DRIVER IN GOLF™ is joining forces with the fastest growing driver shaft to bring a Tour-caliber driver setup to golfers worldwide. HZRDUS Yellow is a stock option in the new 2017 TaylorMade M1 driver, giving better players the same driver/shaft combination played at professional tournaments every week. HZRDUS golf shafts have regularly claimed the title of #1 driver shaft in play during the 2016 season.

“HZRDUS Yellow has been one the hottest shafts in professional golf this year,” David Wilson, senior tour manager for Project X said. “When we combine the low spin properties of HZRDUS Yellow with the adjustability in the M1 driver, we have been able to maximize distance and personalize shot shape for the best players in the world.”

HZRDUS Yellow uses aerospace-grade high modulus graphite fibers to create a low torque and low spin shaft suited for stronger players. The straight taper mid-section provides efficient energy transfer and a smooth feel at impact.

“HZRDUS Yellow is the perfect shaft to complement the new 2017 M1 driver,” Don Brown, director of innovation for Project X said. “This tour-proven shaft allows for higher ball speeds while maintaining lower spin. The counterbalanced design of HZRDUS Yellow means TaylorMade engineers can incorporate features like the T-Track with 27 grams of moveable weight for personalized ball flight.”
