PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Bionic Gloves®, the leader in golf glove technology, and the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) have extended their long-standing relationship in support of women’s golf. Now in its sixth year, Bionic’s national sponsorship of the EWGA provides EWGA members with a custom Bionic glove designed for the nuances of women’s hands. Additionally, Bionic will continue to donate a portion of the proceeds from its sales to support women in golf.
The announcement comes following the 64th PGA Merchandise Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., Jan. 25-27, where both organizations worked to increase exposure for the women’s game and spoke with industry professionals regarding the economic benefits of more women playing the game of golf.
For the EWGA, as the largest women-focused national amateur golf association in the country with chapters in more than 100 cities as well as international chapters in Bermuda, Canada and Italy, the mission was a familiar one.
“Here at the EWGA, we bill ourselves as THE community for women to learn, play and love the game. For us to have a partner like Bionic, who is similarly committed to the growth of women’s golf, is a win-win,” said Ashley Nelson, Director of Partner Relationships for the EWGA. “We greatly appreciate Bionic’s continued support of the EWGA and our members, now in its sixth-year running.”
Bionic’s PerformanceGrip® is the most feature-rich glove ever made and took more than three years of design and testing to get ready for market. Designed by an orthopedic hand specialist, they are the only gloves with patented pad technology to give you more comfort, a better grip and two times more durability than standard leather golf gloves.
“At Bionic, our team continually looks forward to the opportunity to connect with the members of EWGA each year through their conferences and national competitive events. It’s a great chance for us to get feedback on our products from some of the game’s biggest advocates,” said Cheryl Fink, Director of Marketing and Operations for Bionic Gloves. “We’re looking forward to the continuation of this long-lasting relationship and as the EWGA continues to push for positive change on key women’s golf issues.”
