February 8, 2017

02/08/17- Golf Pulp Media is excited to announce that it has been selected to manage the social media launch and digital promotion of Tommy’s Honour, a motion picture based on the powerfully moving true story of the challenging relationship between “Old” Tom and “Young” Tommy Morris, the dynamic father-son team who ushered in the modern game of golf.

Golf Pulp Media was selected to manage the social platform for the major motion picture thanks to its strong reach-we’re talking access to more than 1 million golfers and golf media contacts, the authentic approach the company takes with each client, and pure knowledge and experience of the game.

The internet marketing agency dominates the online golf marketing industry, helping hundreds of golf companies throughout the world build social and digital platforms that deliver results. Through decades of experience dedicated exclusively to the golf niche, Golf Pulp Media has fine-tuned its approach to reaching the golfer audience, ensuring a brand-consistent, interactive, and integrated online experience.

“We are honored to be part of this incredible story which was shot on location in Scotland, including the famed St. Andrews which is considered the ‘home of golf.” A fantastic film for the whole family, it is rich in golf history which aligns perfectly with our shared passion for golf and media,” said Ed Sanchez, CEO & President, Golf Pulp Media.

Tommy’s Honour opens in U.S. theatres on April 14, a perfectly positioned time right after The Masters and the start of the 2017 golf season. The film is directed by Jason Connery, and stars Peter Mullan (War Horse), Jack Lowden (’71), Ophelia Lovibond (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Sam Neill (Jurassic Park).

Winner of the British Academy Scotland Award, the film has been described by the media as, “A rare sports biography that keeps its eye on the ball of character. The result is a movie you can take your dad to.” Hollywood Reporter
