IRVINE, Calif. (February 20, 2017) – A former University of Oklahoma golfer who uses Fourteen Golf wedges earned his second top five finish of the year Sunday at the Web.com Tour event in Panama.
The Mexican-born 25-year-old used Fourteen Golf’s RM-22 Tour Raw wedges in 52 and 58-degree lofts en route to finishing at 9-under par at the Panama Claro Championship. He shot rounds of 67-70-67-67 at the Panama GC in Panama City and tied for fourth, earning $30,000.
The RM-22 Tour Raw wedges will be available at retail outlets March 20, company officials said. The up-and-coming young player, who grew up in Texas, put the Fourteen Golf wedges in his bag last November.
“Fourteen Golf is pleased that a player who plays our wedges in competition has recorded his second top five finished in the first two months of 2017,” said Masashi Kamoda, chief operating officer of Fourteen Golf. “We wish him the best as he continues to progress in his career.
“In addition, Fourteen Golf is excited to be bringing our Tour Raw wedges to retail outlets on March 20 so that all golfers might enjoy their benefits, just like the pros,” Kamoda said.
