BUFFALO, NY – After battling illness that forced him to withdraw from the Colombia Open in Guaymaral a few days earlier, Jesus Amaya came back strong as ever in Pueblo Viejo at the first stop of the PGA Colombia Professional Tour. Playing with OnCore’s Avant golf ball, Jesus exploded on the second day with a round of 65 (-7), finishing at -8 for the tournament and giving him the win in Pueblo Viejo. Amaya, a previous Colombia Open Champion and 5 time World Cup representative of Colombia, took a 3 stroke lead over second place finisher Diego Vanegas when he put together the best round of the tournament on Tuesday.
