One of the biggest names in the business of global golf will headline the 2017 Asia Pacific Golf Summit.
The keynote speaker is arguably the most dynamic and visionary personality in the business of golf. He is Bob Parsons, the billionaire entrepreneur and philanthropist and the man behind one of the most prestigious brands in golf – Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG).
“We are delighted to have Mr. Parsons as our keynote speaker and given his out-of-the-box thinking and derring-do approach towards golf in the 21st Century, he is the perfect choice to set the mood and tone for the 2017 Asia Pacific Golf Summit,” said Mike Sebastian, chief executive officer and producer of APGS 2017.
The theme for APGS 2017 is “NEW DIRECTIONS” and it will mark the start of the second decade of the Summit which was first launched in 2007 in Singapore. “We have been successful in sustaining APGS for a full decade and it is our hope that the Summit will continue to serve as a key platform for the golf club industry to network and set new directions for the industry in Asia,” Sebastian said.
The Summit is being hosted and sponsored by the BRG Group, Vietnam’s leading stake-holder in golf. Under the leadership of one of Vietnam’s most powerful women in business, Madame Nguyen Thi Nga, chairman of the BRG Group, golf has witnessed exponential growth in this Southeast Asian nation. The BRG Group owns and operates a number of top golf courses in Vietnam, including the award-winning Kings’ Island Golf Resort in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam.
APGS 2017 will be staged in the city of Danang and the show dates are November 14-16. Details relating to the Summit will be posted on its website at http://www.golfconference.org and delegate registration will be open at the end of April.
