NORTHBROOK, Ill., March 7, 2017 – KemperSports announced today it has been selected to manage Yucaipa Valley Golf Club – an 18-hole course located in Yucaipa, Calif., along the foothills south of the San Bernardino Mountains in east San Bernardino County.
For almost 20 years, Yucaipa Valley Golf Club has remained a popular golf destination and community hub for golfers and non-golfers alike. The par-72, 6,800-yard routing has continually boasted a resort-quality golf course with a well-appointed clubhouse – making it a popular outings and events location.
“We look forward to leaning on KemperSports’ management expertise,” said owner Matt Clabaugh. “Their experience in managing some of the top public properties in the country as well as their intimate knowledge of the Southern California golf market will be an invaluable asset to Yucaipa Valley Golf Club.”
KemperSports will be tasked with delivering a dynamic sales and marketing plan to drive banquet and outings sales at the newly-constructed Pavilion at Chapman Ranch – a beautiful event and wedding space for up to 200 guests. KemperSports will also implement TrueService, the company’s proprietary customer service training program that is built to deliver unique guest interactions through genuine and friendly service.
In addition to the golf course and Pavilion at Chapman Ranch private events space, Yucaipa Valley Golf Club offers a full-service clubhouse with bar, grill and pro shop.
“Yucaipa Valley Golf Club is a great property with a lot of potential,” said KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner. “We look forward to improving the experience on the golf course and in the clubhouse and taking both to the next level.”
KemperSports now manages 21 courses in the state of California.
