Scottsdale, AZ- Fine Art Dealer Taba Dale, President of the Arizona-based Scottsdale Collection, will assist famed artist Bud Chapman in the handling of the sale of his Infamous 18 Holes of Golf and other original watercolor paintings including the 2002 Solheim Cup at Interlachen.

After viewing the original watercolor paintings of several amazing golf holes set in spectacular locations (like the Grand Canyon and Victoria Falls), Dale described Chapman as a remarkably talented artist whose imagination is limitless. After closely studying the many facets of his work, Dale was amazed by his skill as an illustrator, enjoying the astonishing narratives of global golf culture and called Chapman “The Norman Rockwell of Golf.”

Vlad Gribovsky, Chapman’s long-time friend and exclusive agent, stated “While we have a few parties already expressing interest in purchasing the originals, we’re delighted to have Dale join us in representing this unique body of work to qualified collectors. We have very high standards for what we desire in a buyer.”

Chapman, now 94 years-old and splitting his time between Minnesota and Florida, created the watercolor paintings back in the 1970s, and masterful prints of the holes have been available over the years after being featured in various magazines- from Reader’s Digest to Golf Digest and then some.

Chapman’s enchanting work has caught the eye of various folks from golf collectors to tour players, like PGA Champions Tour Player Tom Lehman. In a recent interview, Lehman shared, “The scope of what Bud has done is without parallel. There’s nothing to compare to Bud’s extraordinary vision.”

Lehman, the 2006 U.S. Ryder Cup Team Captain, commissioned Chapman to do an original painting of the K Club’s 17th hole. Signed and numbered limited edition prints were then given to each team member. “It was a significant gift that each player will treasure forever,” Lehman added.

According to Dale, Chapman’s worldwide audience is sure to grow with future exhibitions of his work that are now in planning stages.

While maintaining her business as an accomplished fine arts dealer Dale also manages customized golf travel packages in Ireland and Great Britain for individuals and corporate groups. She is the author of two books-A Summer in Ireland and A Stroll on the Old Lady.
