ATLANTA – (March 10, 2017) – Mizuno announces its top U.S. golf equipment fitters for 2016. These partners, acknowledged as the best in the golf industry, actively participated in fitting golfers across the nation using the brand’s Performance Fitting System (PFS), helping golfers improve their game by pairing them with the right golf equipment.
Mizuno’s PFS is designed to assist golfers in maximizing the quality and performance of Mizuno Golf equipment. PFS harnesses Mizuno’s custom-fitting expertise to pinpoint the right clubs to improve performance. Results are delivered in an easy-to-read format, with no complicated gauges or theories.
Mizuno’s Shaft Optimizer, a customization element unique to Mizuno and its PFS, allows the fitter to measure club head speed, tempo, shaft toe down, shaft kick angle and release factor during the swing. These factors indicate how the shaft is bending during the swing, and ultimately the Shaft Optimizer software can recommend the ideal shaft bending profile, which will deliver maximum consistent energy transfer to the ball.

The fitting process can identify the correct clubs for golfers of all handicap levels, and help correct gaps or increase distance pending a golfer’s swing profile. Each iron series utilizes a different metal composition, marrying it with the best technology on the market to deliver distance, control and forgiveness for various skill levels.
