As the CMAA Virginia Chapter President, Sean will lead the Virginia Chapter in advancing the profession of club management by fulfilling the educational and related needs of its members and serve on the board of directors for the next two years (2016-2017).
Sean has been involved with the VACMAA since 1997 and has been the General Manager at The Dominion Club since 2007. He previously was elected to the VACMAA board of directors as Vice President in 2014-2015. Additional positions held by Sean on the board include, Student Chapter Liaison 2013-2014, Chapter President 2003-2004, Membership Chairman 1998-2000, Chapter Secretary 2000-2002, Education Chairman 1997-2014, Virginia Tech Hospitality Department-Student Adviser 2000-2015 and James Madison University Hospitality-Student Advisor 2003-2015. Sean obtained his Club Manager Certification in 1997 and was re-certified in 2005 and 2011.
