SCOTTSDALE, AZ., March 16, 2017 – Tathata Golf, the global leader in golf training, will donate its revolutionary in-home (60-Day) Training Program to the first 6,000 people in attendance of the Bank of Hope Founders Cup – a $1.1 million dollar donation – March 18. As the official sponsor of Junior Golf Day and partner of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Bank of Hope Founders Cup, Tathata Golf’s 60-Day Program giveaway is another way of helping to grow the game of golf, not only among girls and junior golfers, but among people of all ages, body types and ability levels.
“We are excited to have Tathata Golf be the entitlement day sponsor for Junior Golf Day this Saturday at the Bank of Hope Founders Cup,” said Scott Wood, LPGA Founders Cup Tournament Director. “Even more exciting – they’ll be handing out their 60-Day Program to LPGA fans as they enter the gates to experience this one of a kind golf training program for free.”
Junior Golf Day will kick off from 9 a.m-2 p.m. on Saturday of the Bank of Hope Founders Cup at Wildfire Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ. Tathata Golf will provide onsite demonstrations to patrons from 9- 10 a.m. The schedule consists of a scavenger hunt, goodie giveaway, and course activities. Kids are also invited to participate in a Hip Fit Dance Party from 12-2 p.m. where an LPGA player will drop by for a Q&A. This one of a kind event brings kids inside the ropes for hands on world-class instruction, gives them the opportunity to meet LPGA tour players and introduces them to the LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Five E’s.
“Whenever I can do clinics and be a role model to young girls who want to learn golf, I try to do that as much as I can,” said Vicky Hurst, LPGA player and former Girls Golf member.
As the preferred golf training program of the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), partner of the LPGA and PUMA, Tathata Golf’s 60-Day in-home training program’s consumption rate has grown to over 1,000 hours of instruction per day. In January alone, users completed over 33,000 hours in 75 countries. Tathata Golf’s program provides students of all ages a unique path of learning golf, combining the timeless teachings of martial arts and the movements of some of the greatest golfers of all time.
“We are thrilled to be able to come alongside the LPGA Tour and the Founder’s Cup to be the title sponsor for junior golf day,” said Bryan Hepler, Founder of Tathata Golf. “The LPGA does a fantastic job with their junior programs and promoting golf globally. We wanted to help any way we could. We look forward to being a part of the Founder’s Cup, as well as other LPGA events for many years to come.”
