Pellucid releases 2017 State of the Industry presentation with “bonus tracks”.

Pellucid has released written commentary of their 2016 State of the Industry presentations in January and February, 2017 in Orlando at the PGA and GIS Shows. The commentary includes “bonus tracks” and additional insight along with expanded explanations of the material.

“There was tremendous interest in our new chart tracking of Age Group participation between 1995 and 2015”, according to Jim Koppenhaver. Included in Stuart Lindsay’s segment of the presentation, the chart generated a lot of interest and a few questions. “We added a new slide illustrating that the difference in generational sizes is not a factor that fully explains drops in the number of golfers in our younger age cohorts”, Jim said.

There is some additional data on income levels that are meaningful. There is also bonus material outlining the 41% drop in the Golf Google Internet Search Index between 2004 and 2016.

The actual presentation is also available on a “pay per view” basis at http://soti.pellucidcorp.com/

Information on purchasing the SOI commentary can be found at www.pellucidcorp.com or by contacting Stuart Lindsay at edgehillgolf@msn.com or 262-241-7088.
