(RESTON, VA) – Billy Casper Golf (BCG) – the highly respected and innovative manager of golf courses, country clubs and resorts – has been selected by Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board (IRRRB), with partner Guest Service, Inc., to manage golf operations and recreational offerings for Giants Ridge in Biwabik, MN.
BCG was chosen as a strategic management partner – to oversee golf operations at the Giants Ridge four-season resort – following an 18-month study to evaluate ways the property could achieve greater success. The State of Minnesota and IRRRB approved the contract for BCG to begin management on April 30.
BCG will guide golf course maintenance, marketing, sales, staffing and training, merchandising, food and beverage, golf instruction and financial management for Giants Ridge’s two courses: The Legend and The Quarry. Operations will be locally-managed by a professional golf and agronomic team, and supported by both a regional and national team that provide expert guidance and direction in all facets of the business.
