The Club Foundation Announces 2017 Board Of Governors

Alexandria, VA – The Club Foundation (CF) announces its 2017 Board of Governors. The 2017 Board of Governors is led by Chairman Jim G. James, CCM, Augusta National Golf Club, Augusta, GA; Vice-Chairman Burton Ward, CCM, CCE, Century Country Club, Purchase, NY; Secretary Nicholas LaRocca, Muirfield Village Golf Club, Dublin, OH; and Treasurer Barry Symons, Jonas Software, Markham, Ontario, Canada.

Four new Governors began their three-year terms at the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) 90th World Conference on Club Management and Club Business Expo, February 7-11, 2017:

Lawrence “Skip” Avery, CCM, CCE, Chambers, Middleton, WI;

J.G. Ted Gillary, CCM, CCE, Detroit Athletic Club, Detroit, MI;

Donna Otis, CCM, Lake Merced Golf Club, Daly City, CA; and

Randy Ruder, CCM, CCE, Beach Point Club, Mamaroneck, NY.

Governors continuing to serve The Club Foundation include:

The Club Foundation Board of Governors is comprised of individuals within and serving the club industry who are committed to raising funds to financially support the professional development of club managers through Scholarships, Education, Research and Charitable Giving, to ensure the highest possible impact on the future of the industry.
