Quicken Loans National offers new flex grounds ticket option for competition rounds; Special pricing in effect until April 21
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The 2017 Quicken Loans National opened ticket sales today, as Washington D.C.’s premier PGA TOUR golf event heads to TPC Potomac this summer for the first time. Defending tournament champion Billy Hurley III, a U.S. Naval Academy graduate, Virginia native and Annapolis, Md. resident, is set to defend his title at his home course June 29-July 2. Hurley shot 17-under par last year at Congressional Country Club to earn his first career PGA TOUR win. By virtue of his win at the Quicken Loans National in 2016, Hurley will tee it up at The Masters this week in Augusta, Ga.
The Quicken Loans National celebrates the things that matter most in American life – family, country, community, military service and achievement. With the support of Lockheed Martin, the Quicken Loans National is proudly offering complimentary tickets to members of the military. More than 30,000 tickets to the tournament are distributed annually to active, retired and reserved members of the United States armed forces.
The tournament is again pleased to offer free admission to kids ages 12 and younger when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Complimentary youth tickets can be picked up at the tournament box office at TPC Potomac during tournament week.
A professional golf event unlike any other in the greater D.C. region, the 2017 Quicken Loans National for the first time is offering a flex grounds ticket option, which enables fans to purchase one of two options: the weekday grounds ticket valid Thursday or Friday (June 29 or 30) and the weekend grounds ticket valid Saturday or Sunday (July 1 or 2).
Fans seeking the best ticket pricing and availability are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance of the tournament to guarantee the lowest price. For more information on all ticket options for the Quicken Loans National, including the Rocket Mortgage MadHouse, Stadium Seats at 17 green and private Cabana packages, please visit QLNational.com or call 1-855-492-8051. Tickets currently start at $15, and prices are set to increase on April 21.
Hosted by Tiger Woods, the Quicken Loans National invites 120 of the top players on the PGA TOUR to compete for their share of a $7.1 million purse. The tournament moves to TPC Potomac, in Potomac, Md., for the first time in the event’s 11-year history. The Quicken Loans National is operated by TGR Live and raises funds and awareness for the Tiger Woods Foundation while paying tribute to our armed forces.
