(April 14,2017) Anaheim, ca – The new Red Tie has been out on tour since January of this year and will now complete the evolution of the MFS5 line of premium shafts along side the White Tie and the Black Tie, which were previously revealed in January at the PGA show.
The Red Tie shaft achieves the mid launch and mid spin trajectory with the stiffness profile that tapers in the tip and butt sections. The newly designed shaft features an upgraded cosmetic of clean graphics along with a touch of our classic red.
“The Q5 Red Tie is the final complement to our 2017 Flight System shafts. Q5 continues the tradition of a stable and consistent shaft that delivers Mid-launch and Mid-Spin performance.” Says Tom DeShiell, Director of R&D of Matrix Shafts. He adds, “The stiffness profile increase rapidly in the tip section to a constant mid-section that again increases under the grip, resulting in a high degree of stability.”

The Q5 Red Tie will be released in 50,60,70gram weights. S and R flexes will be available in the 50gram, X, S and R flexes will be available in the 60gram and X, S flexes in the 70gram.
