IRVINE, Calif. (April 20, 2017) – Premier club designer and manufacturer Fourteen Golf today officially introduced its new RM-22 Tour RAW wedge for players looking for a genuine non-plated Tour wedge.
The RM-22 Tour RAW wedge has the same head and all of the same characteristics of the company’s popular RM-22 forged wedges, except that the head of the club is not plated, a preference of Tour players worldwide, according to Masashi Kamoda, chief operating officer of Fourteen Golf.
“With the introduction of the RM-22 Tour RAW wedge, Fourteen Golf is providing golfers with the same type of wedge used by the most elite players on the top professional tours in the world,” Kamoda said.
The RM-22 Tour RAW wedges have the same outstanding spin performance as the RM-22 tour wedges, including its pioneering signature Reverse Muscle Back Design.
With the Tour RAW wedge, golfers may choose from one of two sole options: the Bumper Sole, which features a pronounced leading edge, or the Delta Sole, which is designed for a lower effective bounce, making it Fourteen’s most versatile wedge grind.

The RM-22 Tour RAW wedges feature Fourteen Golf’s innovative Reverse Muscle Back technology, which gives the company’s wedges the highest spin rate of any wedges on the market. Invented by the Fourteen Golf design team, Reverse Muscle Back technology distributes weight and raises the center of gravity on the clubface by making the upper blade portion slightly thicker. This creates more spin and provides greater head stability in thick lies as well as better accuracy in approach shots.
