Volunteer registration now open
BENTON HARBOR, MICHIGAN (May 1, 2017) – The PGA of America today announced that volunteer positions are now available for the 2018 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, which will be hosted at Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor, Michigan, May 22-27. Golf fans are invited to play an integral role in the success of this storied Championship when it returns to Harbor Shores for the fourth time in seven years.
“Volunteers are the foundation of the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship,” said Championship Director Ryan Ogle. “It is always special to contest this Championship at Harbor Shores, the home course of the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. Each year that we return to Harbor Shores, we are overwhelmed by invaluable support that we receive from the local community. Our team is very excited to offer a variety of volunteer opportunities and we encourage individuals to register early to guarantee a position.”
Interested volunteers will have 20 volunteer committees to choose from, each offering an exclusive experience and behind the scenes access to the Championship. Registration is open to all residents and visitors, include juniors who are at least 14 years old.
All volunteer positions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The 2018 Volunteer Package is valued at more than $500 and includes:

• Personalized volunteer credential, which provides access to the grounds for all six days of the Championship
• One (1) round of golf (cart rental not included) at Harbor Shores if all assigned shifts are completed. On redemption, a $25 cart fee will be collected by the club. The round is transferable as a gift, not for sale, and expires November 1, 2018. Some date restrictions apply.
• Food and water vouchers to use at any on-course concession stand
• A copy of the official 2018 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championships program

Junior volunteers, aged 14 to 21, will have their volunteer fee waived and receive the full volunteer package excluding the outerwear item.
