FORT WORTH, TX – UST Mamiya reports one player from the winning team of the PGA Tour Zurich Classic relied on Elements Platinum 6F5 in his Titleist driver and Elements Platinum 8F5 in his Titleist 16.5° wood. The winning team finished with rounds of 67, 62, 68 and 64 (-27) and gives the Aussie his first PGA Tour victory. This is the third victory this year for Elements and the 2nd for Elements Platinum.
“UST Mamiya wants to congratulate the winning team of the Zurich Classic,” said Robb Schikner, COO. “Elements Platinum is a product designed with no limitations. We use the best material available and our 26+ years of carbon fiber expertise to develop a product for the best players in the world.”
Elements Platinum is designed with premium materials for the best in feel and stability with very low spin.
å´ Super High Modulus 90T carbon / 125 MSI
å´ Aerospace grade 90T continuous carbon fiber is used throughout the entire length of the shaft. The new material allows our engineer to make the shaft stiffer and lower torque without adding additional weight. The shaft is also slightly counterbalanced to work well with today’s heavier driver heads and the longer length of modern drivers.
å´ Toray T1100G = high strength and high elasticity
å´ This material is placed in the tip section to allow for better feel with additional strength and durability.
å´ Improved Stiffness Profile
å´ We are able to increase stiffness without sacrificing feel for aggressive swingers. In addition to using super high modulus material, we added more carbon fiber in key areas for additional stability and improved shot dispersion.
å´ Ion Plating (IP) creates a stunning and premium finish vs. traditional paint
å´ The raw shaft is put into a vacuum chamber where metal ions are emitted and bond to the shaft.
å´ The process takes extra time and is more expensive than traditional methods.
å´ This extra step is all done in-house, so we are able to ensure tighter control for the best quality.
The company produces a variety of shaft models, including the renowned Recoil (The #1 Graphite Iron Shaft in the Market), Elements, PROFORCE and ATTAS lines, which have received significant usage on major professional tours world-wide. Paralleling its achievements at the professional level, the company’s shafts have remained the top-selling aftermarket option in the United States the past 9 years.
