MEMPHIS, Tenn. (May 8, 2017) – Today, True Temper’s new Dynamic Gold 120 Tour Issue shaft is available to golfers through the True Temper Performance Fitting Center network of dealers.
Dynamic Gold 120 delivers the tour-caliber accuracy and performance of Dynamic Gold in a lighter weight steel shaft.
“With Dynamic Gold 120, stronger players will experience the exact same profile and launch as Dynamic Gold but with a lighter weight,” Bill Lange, senior director of product management for True Temper said. “It’s a great shaft for anyone who wants that Dynamic Gold performance but needs a shaft that swings just a little easier.”
Dynamic Gold 120 is the culmination of 15 years of research and development at True Temper.
“We have worked for years to perfect both Tour-caliber and lighter weight steel shaft designs,” Dayson Flory, alloy engineering manager for True Temper said. “Previously, the two were on opposite ends of the spectrum. Dynamic Gold 120 is our first product that combines the two, and the results have been game changing.”
Dynamic Gold 120 is a Tour Issue shaft, which means it is sorted to the industry’s tightest weight tolerances, and bears the new True Temper Tour Issue mark. The shaft is available in S400 and X100 flex exclusively through Performance Fitting Centers. MSRP is 4-pw $420/set and 3-pw $480/set.
