DALLAS, May 17, 2017 – Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton, Colo., an Arcis Golf property, was ranked No. 1 golf club in three categories by Colorado Avid Golfer in the magazine’s 2017 CAGGY Awards for the reader’s choice “Best in State.”
Arrowhead, a Robert Trent Jones Jr. design known for its majestic red rock formations and striking foothill views, earned a total of six “Best of Colorado Golf” honors in the Public and Resort division:

Located 30 minutes south of Denver in Roxborough State Park, Arrowhead Golf Club opened in 1972. The par 70 plays among 300-million-year-old sandstone formations and giant boulders, which are visible from every hole.
The award-winning 13th hole is Arrowhead’s signature par 3, a steep downhill that measures 173 yards from the lengthiest of four distances (also 122, 133 and 171 yards). Wedged between two massive red rock formations, the hole plays over trees to a large green framed by a small pond behind it.
Throughout the clubhouse, banquet room and outdoor pavilion, spectacular views make the facility one of the area’s top venues for golf, social events and weddings.

Facilities were divided into two categories (Private, Public and Resort), with voting also done for Instruction and Travel Destinations.
