Veteran GM brings 30 years of club and hospitality industry experience to Munds Park
Munds Park, Ariz. – Pinewood Country Club is proud to announce the appointment of Chris Williams as General Manager. A longtime executive leader in the Club and Hospitality Industry sectors of Arizona’s High Country, Williams will oversee all golf course, golf shop, restaurant and all other operations at the member-owned Club.
“I’m excited to bring my well-rounded experience to such a great private golf club,” said Williams. “The Membership is outstanding, and they take pride in all facets of their Club. I’m excited to have the opportunity to contribute in furthering Pinewood’s commitment to first-class amenities and member experiences.”

Working in Sedona, Ariz., for most of the past 25 years, Williams heads 17 miles northeast to Munds Park after serving as the Opening General Manager of Sedona’s Courtyard by Marriott. Williams was also the General Manager of The Club at Seven Canyons in Sedona; Resort Manager of the Enchantment Resort in Sedona; and General Manager of Sedona-based Arizona Tours, Inc., which is the parent company of the world-famous Pink Jeep Tours.
A graduate of City University of New York with a degree in Business Management-Administration, Williams has previously served on the Strategic Long Range Planning Committee of the Sedona Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Board of Directors for both the Sedona Main Street Program and the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Arizona. He and his wife, Julie, have two teenage daughters: Olivia and Josie. They enjoy hiking, horseback riding and cooking together.
