Leader in tracking technology provides broadcast technology and data to golf’s biggest hitters
ORLANDO, Fla. – July 6, 2017 -FlightScope today announces that they are the official technology sponsor for the upcoming Long Drive World Series event in the UK. The event brings together ten of the biggest hitters in the world, along with six qualifiers, who will go head-to-head in front of packed out spectator stands, all in the hope of being crowned Long Drive World Series UK champion. Throughout the event, the FlightScope Tracer will provide real-time 3D tracking and tracing of the entire ball flight on live video using both radar and camera technologies.

After selling out its inaugural event in Dubai in March, the four-city series heads to the UK to continue to revamp the game of golf by combining power and adrenaline into one night. Current World Champion and long-time FlightScope user, Joe Miller, will be one of the 16 players battling it out for the title. With the partnership, participants will use the latest FlightScope units during warm up and will receive live video with trajectory and data feedback via the FlightScope Tracer during the competition.

The Long Drive World Series is free to the public and will be hosted on Saturday, July 8 in Windsor, UK at Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club.
