Nippon Shaft Has 1-2 Finish At Women’s PGA Championship

And top five finishes on both PGA and Web.com tours

CARLSBAD, Calif. (July 5, 2017) – Nippon Shaft players finished winner and runner-up at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, July 2, on the North Course at Olympia Fields Country Club outside Chicago.

The 24-year-old champion used Nippon Shaft’s N.S. PRO 950-GH steel shafts in both her irons and wedges to shoot 13-under par. The 19-year-old Canadian runner up – winner of the 2016 Women’s PGA – used N.S. PRO MODUS3 Tour 105 steel shafts in her irons and N.S.PRO MODUS” Wedge 115 steel shafts in her wedges to finish one stroke out of a playoff.

Meanwhile, at the PGA TOUR’s Quicken Loans National, three players finished T-5, each using a different Nippon Shaft steel shaft in their irons: the N.S. PRO MODUS3 Tour 130 X-flex; the N.S. PRO MODUS3 Tour 125 X-flex, and the N.S. PRO MODUS3 PROTO Irons X-flex.

And at the Web.com Tour event in Nashville, Nippon Shaft had two players in the top 10 using the N.S. PRO MODUS3 Tour 130 X-flex and the N.S. PRO MODUS3 Tour 120 TX-flex steel shafts in their irons.
