(July 7, 2017) – Troon®, the leader in golf course management, development, and marketing, is celebrating “Troon Family Golf Month” throughout the month of July as a way of introducing juniors to the game of a lifetime. Throughout July, many Troon facilities are increasing their family golf programming with family-oriented instructional programs, clinics, events and tournaments. Two examples of Troon Family Golf Month activities include:
The Club at Savannah Harbor – Savannah, Georgia
The Club at Savannah Harbor is offering complimentary 30-minute golf clinics throughout the month to encourage families to spend time outside together. Juniors can also play the club’s family-friendly, 9-hole short course for free. In addition, on Sunday, July 16th The Club at Savannah Harbor will host a fun Parent Junior Tournament. Played from the family-friendly forward tees, the Parent Junior Tournament will be flighted based on a junior’s age and playing ability.
Kapalua Golf – Maui, Hawaii
Kapalua Golf and Kapalua Golf Academy will be hosting a Family Golf Demo Day on Saturday, July 15th. The Family Golf Demo Day will feature clubs and equipment that will appeal to all members of the family, including Callaway, U.S. Kids and more.
While the month of July serves as the annual kickoff for family golf activities, Troon Family Golf benefits last year-round at Troon facilities worldwide and include:
– Juniors play golf for free after 3 PM when playing with a paying adult
– Juniors enjoy complimentary Callaway rental clubs all day
– Juniors receive complimentary instruction when taking a lesson with a paying adult
