18Birdies to serve as official live scoring partner for LA Memorial Coliseum event
OAKLAND, Calif., July 11, 2017 – Mobile golf technology startup, 18Birdies, announced a partnership with Stadiumlinks to bring live scoring to its inaugural event at the LA Memorial Coliseum taking place July 14-16. The event will utilize 18Birdies Tournament+ Scoring software to provide a social and interactive tournament experience for event participants.

As it has done with other stadiums across the country, Stadiumlinks will be transforming the historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum into a one-of-a-kind golf experience featuring a unique 9-hole course. Players will be teeing off from various points around the upper deck of the stadium and hitting onto targets positioned on custom greens that are landscaped onto the field. Stadiumlinks events give fans the chance at some of the most memorable golf shots that they otherwise wouldn’t have a chance to hit while giving them intimate access to each stadium involved.
18Birdies Tournament+ Scoring software allows tournament organizers to easily create and manage full-field tournaments while providing a socially interactive experience and in-app live leaderboards. Tournament+ Scoring supports multiple formats including Individual Stroke Play, Stableford, Scramble and Best Ball.
18Birdies Tournament+ Scoring software is already being used to run several notable charity and pro-am events in 2017 including the Web.com Ellie Mae Classic, Monday After the Master’s, the Murray Bros Caddyshack Golf Tournament, the Workday Silicon Valley Challenge, the Irie Weekend Celebrity Golf Tournament and all Els for Autism Golf Challenge events in the U.S.
