(New York, New York) – CHASE54 golf apparel congratulates TEAM54 Ambassador, Jerry Kelly, on winning the PGA TOUR Champions event, The Boeing Classic, at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge on Sunday, August 27. Finishing the tournament with a 6-under 66, Kelly held on to the lead to win for a one-stroke victory over Jerry Smith. The win marks his first PGA TOUR Champions title in only 13 starts in his rookie season.
CHASE54 was cheering loud for its staffer on Sunday, but perhaps not as loud as his friend Aaron Rodgers, fellow Wisconsin resident and quarterback of the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers displayed his support and excitement over Kelly’s win on both Instagram and Twitter at tournament’s end. Rodgers, an avid golfer, has often paired up with Kelly at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, during his NFL off-season.
Kelly, a three-time PGA TOUR winner, has worn CHASE54 since 2015. For the big win, he stayed true to his style and wore the “Sunday Blue” Drift Polo in Sky Blue, paired with the Pioneer Pant. Kelly has been instrumental in providing on-course testing feedback to the CHASE54 design team and offering input on new creations.

This year brought more than one change to the Kelly family. Not only did Jerry transition to the PGA TOUR Champions after recently turning 50, he and his wife Carol had just dropped their son Cooper off for his freshman year of college in Boulder, CO., the week prior to his tournament win. Kelly lovingly attributed his win to Carol joining him once again for tour travel saying, “I wanted to do a little something to hopefully ease her mind about what we just went through in dropping off one of the coolest kids I’ve ever met.”
