ORLANDO, Fla. (Sept. 6, 2017) – Accomplished player and coach Kyle Morris, one of Golf Digest’s “Best Young Teachers in America,” today will make his second guest appearance on Golf Channel’s Morning Drive, airing from 7:30-9:30 a.m. ET.
Morris, owner and director of instruction of The Golf Room indoor training facility in Dublin, Ohio, is one of the inaugural coaches in Golf Channel Academy (GCA), a dedicated network of teaching facilities. Select Golf Channel Academy coaches are being invited to appear on the network’s news and instruction shows, including The Golf Fix and School of Golf; Morris is making his first appearance on Morning Drive.
“It’s a tremendous honor to be on Morning Drive,” said Morris, who played professionally on PGA TOUR Latinoamérica, Mackenzie Tour-PGA TOUR Canada, and the Web.com Tour, accumulating five victories and more than 25 top-5 finishes worldwide. “It’s been a great experience to be a part of the Golf Channel Academy network of coaches, and I look forward to sharing some of my favorite tips and playing lessons with the viewers at home.”
Morris holds the Seton Hall University record for lowest stroke average by any sophomore or junior and has a career-low round of 60. He has had the privilege to work with and be endorsed by Columbus, Ohio, native and 18-time major champion Jack Nicklaus and several of Golf Digest’s “50 Best Teachers in America”, including Mike Bender, Stan Utley, James Sieckmann, Pia Nilsson and Lynn Marriott.
A Master TrackMan Professional, Morris uses the most accurate assessments, drills and training aids-including TrackMan, K-Vest, BodiTrak, FocusBand and HeathMath-to maximize the golfer’s opportunity to improve.
