Anaheim, CA (September 12, 2017) – HOUSE OF FORGED golf shafts, which are manufactured by Matrix Shafts have dominated long drive competition over the past ten years, having been used to win five open division world long drive championships, and competitors have won more LDA Tour events and more major international long drive events using HOF golf shafts than any other shaft.
Just last week in an electrifying performance on the GOLF CHANNEL, Justin James of Ponte Vedra, Florida got the win in the Men’s Open Division using HOF shafts, while Nick Kiefer tied for 3rd Place, and Wes Patterson tied for 5th Place.
HOUSE OF FORGED shafts also dominated in the Men’s Master’s Division competition where Jeff Crittenden of Greensboro, NC got the win with Kevin Blenkhorn taking 2nd Place, and Mike Bauman getting a tie for 5th Place. Rounding out the trifecta, Jeff Flagg used HOF shafts to get the win in the Mixed Doubles competition, while Tommy Hug used HOF shafts to take 2nd Place with his partner.
Following these dominant performances, Robert Kent/Vice-President of HOUSE OF FORGED offered the following comments, “We are honored that some of the best long drivers in the world use our shafts in long drive competition. These venues allow us to compete against and dominate some of the largest golf shaft companies in the world. We consider ourselves blessed to have the support of the MATRIX shaft company, whom many in the golf industry consider to be the Rolls Royce of golf shaft manufacturers.”
