This time it’s no joke. Loudmouth releases limited-edition Cute Little Pussy Cat design after overwhelming positive response to April Fools’ prank.
Foster City, CA (September 18, 2017) – Loudmouth Golf, the worldwide leader in bold and bright golf and sports fan apparel has released a special edition design, Cute Little Pussy Cats, after an overwhelming number of requests to purchase the pattern following an April Fools’
Day joke.
On April 1, 2017, the company sent an email to customers and posted to social media accounts that they had just released a design that prominently featured cuddly kittens wearing bows and swatting at butterflies. The pattern, which looks like it could be a little girl’s bedspread, was meant for customers to wonder, “What are they thinking?! Has Loudmouth lost its way?!” But soon company representatives realized the joke was on them. Within hours, hundreds of customers had commented on the photo, emailed and called customer service; Many expressing outrage when they realized the pattern was supposed to be a lighthearted April Fools’ Day joke.
“Every year for April Fools’ Day, we display a ridiculous pant design to get a chuckle from our fans. We never thought Cute Little Pussy Cats would get this kind reaction,” says Loudmouth Founder & Designer, Woody. “This just goes to show that the higher we float the sartorial balloon, the more our customers want to hop on board.”

In reaction to recent events, 10% of Cute Little Pussy Cats pattern proceeds will be donated to the Hurricane Irma and Harvey animal relief funds.
