30-minute educational session unlocking historical data to increase green fee revenue.
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The ORCA Report announced today its founder, Mike Loustalot, will present an educational session at National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) Golf Business TechCon, September 27-28, 2017 in Las Vegas, NV.
TechCon is a two-day event for golf course owners, operators and other industry professionals which will spotlight some of the cutting-edge tools and tactics currently transforming golf course operations.
Loustalot’s presentation, “Technology and Your Top Line,” will focus on how actual, validated, and normalized data from participating golf courses helps each golf course professionally forecast expected demand and optimize green fee revenue. A golf marketing and technology solutions expert for the past 25 years, Loustalot will engage attendees with easy-to-understand, real-example stories, which brings these opportunities to life.
“The golf operations world is changing rapidly, and it’s critical to help golf course owners and operators simply understand how to harness their existing demand and grow green fee revenue,” said Loustalot. “In markets where ORCA currently operates, golf course operators are demonstrating an unprecedented level of cooperation, translating to increased revenues.”
ORCA, a round and revenue benchmarking partner of the NGCOA, tracks occupancy percentage, the average rate per round, revenue per available round, and the channel mix of bookings. Participating golf courses can compare their performance to a “self-selected” competitive set of golf courses, whose data is aggregated and displayed anonymously.
The more golf courses that confidentially share data with The ORCA Report, the more powerful golf course owners, operators and destination marketing entities become. The ORCA Report is being used by more than 275 golf courses in the Southwest, Northwest, Midwest, and Northeast.
