Quick.golf’s World Expands To New Zealand

September 25, 2017

Kiwi golfers will be able to play and pay by the hole

Quick.golf proudly announces a partnership which will bring its pay-by-hole web app to New Zealand golf courses and golfers, Quickgolf.nz.

Nick and Will Rowland, proprietors of Rolly Bros. Limited, recognize similar issues with New Zealand golf as seen in the U.S. – golf courses have capacity that goes unsold, and golfers don’t have time to play as much as they’d like.

“We read about Quick.golf and recognized us both as being perfect customers for a pay-by-hole alternative,” says Nick Rowland. “Golf is a thriving in New Zealand, and Will and I have been involved with the New Zealand golf community and business for many years. We think Kiwis are ready for Quick.golf and we’re excited to be able to deliver it to them.”

“Our lifestyles, work, and family commitments make it difficult for us to find time to play full 18-hole rounds, and we know many others who say the same,” says Will Rowland. “We want to be at the forefront of how technology can continue to bring new alternatives to the status quo, for both golfers and golf course operators. At its core, golf is a simple game, and Quick.golf is a simple solution to making the game more accessible to more budding golfers.”

“We designed the Quick.golf web app to easily transfer across borders,” says Quick.golf co-founder Mike Dickoff. “New Zealand shows us that golf’s difficult market conditions are similar in other countries where golf is long established,” adds co-founder Harvey Silverman. “The Rowlands have a keen sense of this in their home country, and we’re excited to partner with them and support their efforts to introduce the Quick.golf pay-by-hole alternative to New Zealand.”

About Quickgolf LLC: Quick.golf borrows from Open Table and Uber to bring a new alternative to golf courses that is easy to implement and manage. Pay-by-hole golf is not new, but using technology to promote and generate incremental revenue is. Our web app is finding its way to golf courses and golfers looking for a new way to play…and pay. Go to www.quick.golf/joinus to learn more, and call or email us as soon as you realize what a good idea this can be for your business. Contact Harvey Silverman at 650.362.3229, or harvey@quick.golf.

About Rolly Bros. Limited: Rolly Bros. Limited was born with the excitement of bringing a new way to play the game we love to Kiwi shores. Golf has always been a big part of brothers Nick and Will Rowland’s lives. Their father Brian ‘Big Bird’ Rowland didn’t give his three sons much of an option not to love the game. Big Bird passed down his passion for the game, unfortunately some of his skills may have missed a generation. We’re excited to be bringing Quick.golf to New Zealand, making golf more accessible and affordable to play for all Kiwis. If you’re keen to learn more or get involved, email us at William@quickgolf.nz.
