(Englewood, Colo) – GOLFTEC – the world leader in golf lessons and top employer of PGA Professionals – announces the opening of its remodeled and enhanced Denver Tech Center location, a flagship facility that was the site of the original GOLFTEC more than 20 years ago. The company will host a Halloween-themed Grand Opening on October 30, RSVP info is available here: http://tinyurl.com/yaybkser.
Located at 8000 E. Quincy Ave, Suite 200, the new center is more than 3,750 square feet and features five teaching/practice bays staffed by highly-trained coaches and one director of club-fitting. The new build is among the largest GOLFTEC’s in the world and showcases the company’s vibrant new in-center design scheme, which promotes a dynamic and holistic experience through an inviting and inspiring atmosphere.
Additionally, the Tech Center is among a select group of new locations opened in 2017 to feature GOLFTEC’s enhanced TECFIT® custom club-fitting program. It uses leading-edge technology and software that combines swing characteristics with ball flight data to help properly identify optimal golf equipment for each student. In order to provide a fully comprehensive, TOUR-like fitting experience, GOLFTEC partnered with True Spec Golf to offer an extensive array of unique clubhead/shaft options for custom orders built to the tightest tolerances from top OEMs, including Callaway®, TaylorMade®, Mizuno® and PING®.
“The Denver Tech Center location means a great deal to our company, as this is where GOLFTEC really got started.” said Joe Assell, Co-Founder and CEO of GOLFTEC. “Twenty-two years ago it was our only location and now we’ve got almost 200 worldwide. Not only does it have heritage, but it has consistently been one of our best performing centers.”
While the majority of lessons are taught indoors in private bays, coaches also accompany players for on-course/outdoor lessons to ensure they are comfortable in real world situations. Area golfers are encouraged to come meet the staff and learn about the pioneering programs that have led to a 96 percent success rate among GOLFTEC students.
Overseeing the facility’s operation is Colorado Regional Manager, Ty Walker, a popular figure for years at the Denver Tech Center and greater Denver Metro market. Walker recently received the 2017 Colorado PGA Section Bill Strausbaugh Award, which acknowledges a PGA Professional’s outstanding display of integrity, character and leadership in their commitment towards mentoring other PGA Professionals. More information on the team can be found here.
“With our corporate headquarters in Denver and so many ties to the community, we wanted to be sure that these locations reflect the absolute best GOLFTEC has to offer and the new Tech Center is just that,” said Walker. “Our staff here is comprised of some of the best teachers I’ve ever worked with, and when you combine that talent with all the new technology GOLFTEC has pioneered, you get the perfect golf improvement system.”
Over more than two decades GOLFTEC has posted unrivaled category growth, including a 98% increase in revenue since 2010. The largest driver of new business comes from referrals by current students who drop an average of seven strokes from their scorecard. GOLFTEC expects to teach nearly 1 million lessons in 2017.
The renowned, global GOLFTEC coaching team is comprised of experienced professionals, most of whom are PGA professionals and have taught thousands of lessons. Each goes through a rigorous multi-week certification at GOLFTEC University including continued advanced training to master the analysis of golf swing mechanics, the technology utilized by GOLFTEC and the most productive teaching techniques. Committed to strengthening the industry and hiring only the best staff, GOLFTEC is the largest employer of PGA Professionals in the world.
