Boston, MA … October 9, 2017 … Complementing a successful season on the PGA TOUR Champions, which included his first professional victory since 2004, John Daly smashed a 380 yard drive while playing in the PGA TOUR’s Safeway Open, using the world’s only Vertical Groove Driver. After making the cut, the 51 year-old Daly unleashed the drive on the 13th hole of the North Course at Silverado Resort & Spa, during Sunday’s final round of play.

It is equipped with Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips in standard, midsize and oversize models. Alternative shaft options from Fujikura, Mitsubishi and Aldila also will be available.
