Winston-Salem, NC, November 3, 2017 – SkyTrak LLC, a joint venture of SkyGolf and SportTrak, announces a new partnership with Fitness Golf. This partnership will give SkyTrak users the ability to play over 160 simulated golf courses using SkyTrak alone, or add accessories to get a full aerobic workout while playing golf!
The Fitness Golf software provides simulation access to a wide variety of world-renowned courses. Golfers can choose from three options: Golf Only, where a player remains stationary after each shot while advancing automatically to the ball’s location; Fitness Golf, where a player takes a shot, then runs, walks or bikes to their next hitting location; or Fitness Only, where the user runs, walks or bikes through any golf course in the software without playing golf.
“We’re excited to offer the Fitness Golf package to our SkyTrak users,” said Andy Allen, SportTrak Managing Director of Golf. “Combining fitness and golf makes perfect sense, especially if you don’t have time to do both separately. Fitness Golf is a terrific way for you to make exercise more enjoyable while playing a round of golf on a great golf course.”
Fitness Golf provides SkyTrak users with incredible ball flight physics from drivers to the shortest chips and putts. Game selection options are available for pin placements, course firmness, time of day, weather conditions and wind conditions. Users can also choose from 13 different camera views for each shot to make every round a unique experience. A driving range, putting courses and chipping courses are included for practice sessions.
A full PC version of the Golf Only mode is included with the Fitness Golf package. It includes a full course creator to design your favorite course to play with the Fitness Golf software. The Golf Only game mode allows up to 4 players and gives users the choice of Stroke play, Stableford, Modified Stableford, Match Play, and Skins.
SkyTrak is a revolutionary development in launch monitor technology, offering a complete practice, play and entertainment system for golf at home. It delivers commercial quality ball flight simulations that reflect a golfer’s actual performance for game improvement and entertainment at a price far below alternatives. Golfers can also experience and test their skills on some of the world’s most famous 18-hole courses with their own clubs at their own pace through integrations with golf simulators including WGT Golf, Jack Nicklaus Perfect Golf, The Golf Club Game, Creative Golf, TruGolf and Fitness Golf.
SkyTrak features a Skills Assessment that allows golfers to set up to 10 target stations with the ability to set distance and club used for each station. It then automatically progresses through each station and allows you to check your performance and detailed shot history as you go. In addition to capturing the actual ball speed, launch angle, back spin, side spin and side angle to project the ball flight, the Skills Assessment allows you to capture additional shot details including flight time, angle of descent, max height and smash factor (PTI). At the end of your Skills Assessment, you’ll see an overview of your entire session including overall green accuracy, average shot dispersion and average tendency. You will also receive a SkyTrak Dynamic Handicap™ score (for each shot and overall) using the SkyTrak proprietary scoring system.
The Fitness Golf package includes: Fitness Golf software license, Fitness Golf PC software download, and full access to 160 golf courses for play and fitness. Fitness Golf is available for a one-time fee of $399.95 with no renewals required. It also requires an annual SkyTrak Game Improvement Package. Fitness modes require additional accessories to track foot and bike action and links to purchase these are provided at http://www.fitnessgolf.net/links.html.
