Imperial Golf Club in Naples Florida, partners with ClubPay to manage their club’s payroll, timekeeping, and growing HR needs. Now, having made the switch, Thomas Smith, Chief Business Officer at Imperial GC says, “They live up to their reputation, our implementation representative went above and beyond to get us what we needed, and was a steady presence as we went through it all.”
Imperial Golf Club is a premier, private club with two walker-friendly golf courses just steps away from the wild, Florida Everglades. Being one of the few clubs to allow “walking” the course, Imperial offers a most unique golf club experience. Members enjoy this healthy, nostalgic element of the game, and personalized service from Imperial’s club staff who prove their dedication by recognizing each member by name.
Like many organizations, Imperial Golf Club found more-and-more was needed in the payroll and human resource area, and their payroll provider was unable to handle the additional club management system needs. Imperial’s administration team decided to try ClubPay starting January 2017.
“Having a company that knows the club industry, and cares about what we need as an industry is great!” states Thomas Smith, “as a former software vendor for the industry, I know how important implementation is, and this was one of the easier implementations I’ve been through.”
Imperial Golf Club chose ClubPay’s web-based, integrated Payroll & HR solution with custom interface setup to Jonas General Ledger. As well as, web-based labor management system- ClubTime, which enables real-time, bi-directional integration to Payroll/HR, including accrual information.
ClubPay Implementation Consultants work in partnership with Jonas Club Client Support technicians ensure necessary reporting codes match for a seamless file transmission between systems.
“From timekeeping to the actual processing, it is an easier process for our staff”, says Smith. “The online insurance sign-up, and Jonas General Ledger update are big differences from our previous setup. Generating reports, and managing time-off benefits are all much easier to use.”
“I have known about ClubPay for years, and had always heard wonderful things about the company”, said Smith. “Having finally made the switch, I can honestly say they live up to their reputation. I love the knowledge and support they have for the club industry.”
ClubPay takes ownership of data conversion, and uses a one-on-one training process with a dedicated consultant who works with new clients for at least three live payroll runs. After the initial learning process from implementation, clients then have direct access to ongoing live support and enhancements for the duration of the partnership from ClubPay’s Client Service team, and often work with someone who knows them on a first name basis.
“The fact that there is someone available to do the payroll if needed, is a huge plus.” reports Smith.
ClubPay attributes its 3% attrition rate as a direct result of the knowledgeable people on their service team, who care for each client’s success.
