Orlando, FL – The Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf in Orlando, Florida announces a second player development program for juniors interested in taking their game to the next level. The Golden Bear Golf Team is designed to provide motivated players a complete monthly program that includes supervised group instruction and on-course playing lessons.
The Golden Bear Team program consists of 9-hours of instruction and a 9-hole on-course strategy session each month. There is a 2nd option that includes 2-hours of private instruction as part of the package. The Certified coaches from the Nicklaus Academy will focus on all aspects of the players games with the goal of having them advance to the Nicklaus Academy Junior Elite Team.
“The Golden Bear Golf Team is set-up like a Junior Varsity team when compared to our Junior Elite Team,” states Brian O’Neill, Director of Instruction. “The format provides players with less experience the opportunity to join a structured instruction and playing program so they can advance to the next level in terms shooting lower scores. The program will be fun and competitive while providing the necessary motivation to improve.”
There is a 6-month minimum commitment to secure a spot on the Golden Bear Team. A limited number of positions are available. In addition, each Golden Bear Team member will receive a Golden Bear Golf Team hat. The Nicklaus Academy Orlando is based at the award-winning Hawk’s Landing Golf Club.
