Wins $1 million of Tathata Golf in-kind donation
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (November 30, 2017) – Annika Sorenstam defeated fellow legends Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman to win the first-ever Tathata Golf Greats Shootout. Sorenstam fired a wedge to within a few feet to secure her victory and $1 million of in-kind Tathata Golf memberships that she can donate to new and existing golfers. Nicklaus and Norman each won $200,000 of Tathata Golf memberships also for their donation to golfers and their charities.
The $1.4 million Tathata Golf Shootout took place November 20 at Tathata Golf’s “Celebration with the Greats” event at the Tathata Golf Training Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. Sorenstam, Nicklaus and Norman made special guest appearances at the event which was held to celebrate the launch of Tathata Golf’s new membership platform, new mobile APP and a new Netflix-like user experience featuring an array of training courses, television shows and video content.
More than 250 invited guests attended the inaugural event, which was streamed live on the Golf Channel. Tathata Golf’s newly formed 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Tathata Golf Foundation, has pledged to host an annual event celebrating “The Greats.”
