PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (December 1, 2017) – Linda Hartough, a renowned golf landscape artist and a 2017 inductee into the Lowcountry Golf Hall of Fame, will showcase her award-winning art for purchase during the holiday season as December Product of the Month on the GolfTalk Live radio show.
Her most notable paintings from the Greater Philadelphia area feature the 16th Hole at the East Course at Merion GC from the 2013 U.S. Open and the 17th/9th Holes at Aronimink GC. Limited edition Fine Art Paper prints of these famous paintings are available for a special holiday price through the end of the year on her website, www.Hartough.com.
“There is a lot of excitement for the 2018 BMW Championship at Aronimink,” states GolfTalk Live host, Tony Leodora. “Hartough’s painting of the 17th and 9th holes at Aronimink will be the ‘must-have’ piece of art this holiday season for local golf fans and golf art enthusiasts. The interview with Linda Hartough will be a treat for GolfTalk Live listeners.”
Throughout the month of December, the GolfTalk Live website, Facebook and Twitter pages will showcase Linda Hartough’s exceptional body of work spanning more than 30 years, recreating the natural beauty of the world’s famous golf holes. Notable bestsellers include well-known holes from Augusta National, Pebble Beach and St Andrews, as well as the paintings from 1990-2014 as commissioned by the USGA for the U.S. Open Championships.
“The holidays are a good time to give a print of a favorite of a golf course or hole to any golfer,” said Linda Hartough. “There are many choices of holes I have painted through the years to give as holiday gifts.”
In mid-November 2017, Linda Hartough Golf Landscapes was commissioned by RSM US LLP to provide paintings of three different holes at Sea Island GC for the 2017, 2018 and 2019 RSM Classic. Hartough’s interview on GolfTalk Live will air on Saturday, December 9, 2017.
