Percentage of ticket sales to be donated to local charitable organizations
BENTON HARBOR, MICH. (Dec. 11, 2017) -The PGA of America is proud to announce its Non-Profit Programs for the 2018 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, as it deepens its commitment to giving back to local community partners in the Southwest Michigan. The Championship, which returns to Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor, Michigan, for the fourth time, has strong ties to the community, and is committed to offering more support to a growing community of charitable organizations.
The Non-Profit Programs will allow organizations to apply through February 8, 2018. Details of both programs can be found below:
• Non-Profit Fundraising -Organizations receive 50 percent of total ticket sales that they have sold. The Championship will donate 50 percent of the total ticket sales to all participating organizations in this program.
• Non-Profit Ticket Program – Organizations receive complimentary tickets to the 2018 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship.
“The tickets for charity program is an important initiative for the PGA of America,” said Ryan Ogle, championship director. “One of the core values of the PGA REACH is to make a positive impact on the lives of young people, military veterans and diverse populations and to give back to the communities in which we operate Major Championships. We are grateful to be in a position to donate a larger percentage of ticket sales this year to local community organizations who are willing and able to support this Championship.”
