NORTHBROOK, Ill., Dec. 13, 2017 – KemperSports announced today that Streamsong Black, the third course at Streamsong Resort, recently received “Best New” honors from GOLF Magazine. .
The course was designed by 2016 Olympic Golf Course Architect Gil Hanse, his partner Jim Wagner and their team. It has taken the golf industry by storm as one of the most anticipated course openings in recent years and jumped on to the national golf scene on the Sept. 29 grand opening that was attended by golf industry leaders, journalists and resort guests.
The GOLF Magazine rankings are based on input from a group of panelists, led by Architecture and Course Rankings Editor Joe Passov, who notes that Streamsong Black stands out for its “wider fairways, bigger bunkers, larger greens, more expansive views, and tremendous memorability from hole to hole.” The publication cites that “debate will be fierce in the years ahead as to which of the Streamsong courses is top dog.”
