ORLANDO, Fla. (Dec. 30, 2017) – Scottish PGA Professional Kenny Nairn, a member of the PGA of Great Britain & Ireland and European Golf Teachers Federation, is scheduled to appear as a guest instructor on Golf Channel’s Morning Drive on Wednesday, Jan. 3, and Saturday, Jan. 6.
The popular daily morning show airs from 7-9 a.m. ET.
Nairn, a Golf Channel Academy lead coach at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Fla., is one of the inaugural coaches in Golf Channel Academy (GCA), a dedicated network of teaching facilities. Select Golf Channel Academy coaches are being invited to appear on the network’s news and instruction shows, including The Golf Fix and School of Golf; Nairn, a Managing Partner with Central Florida Golf, is making his third appearance on Morning Drive.
“It’s a tremendous honor to be on Morning Drive,” said Nairn, a former PGA Golf Professional at The Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland, and a native of St Andrews, Scotland, the Home of Golf. “I look forward to sharing some of my favorite tips and playing lessons with the viewers at home and helping them get their 2018 season off to a great start.”
An accomplished player, club fitter and coach, Nairn captured the professional division of the Wilson World Pro-Am Tournament at Pebble Beach in 2010 and ’13, and was a former Ping National Club Fitter and Regional Club Fitter of the Year. He comes certified in TrackMan (Level 3), TPI (Level 2) and Ping’s nFlight Fitting Software.
The National Golf Course Owners Association’s Player Development Winner in 2007, Nairn teaches all facets of the game with a strong emphasis on the short game. He currently coaches several players on the LPGA, Ladies European Tour (LET) and European Tour.
