First-place winners in the writing, broadcast and photography categories will receive a golf shirt from CHASE54.

Of the dozen categories in the ING Media Awards, eight are for writers: Travel Writing, Business Writing, Feature Writing, Opinions/Editorials, Profile Writing, Equipment/Apparel Writing, Competition Coverage, and Books.
Other categories include Excellence in Publications, TV and two Radio categories.
Judging is done by a panel of three independent experts in each category. Judges are selected by Individual Category Chairs. Where possible, by-lines and publication names are stripped from the articles before they are sent to the judges.
Winners will be announced and honored at the ING Media Awards Presentation Press Conference January 25, 4:45 pm in Room 309AB at the PGA Merchandise Show. Committee Chair for the ING Media Awards is Cody Law, Executive Director of Golf Mesquite Nevada.
