Montreal, QC: Chronogolf, Pellucid, Edgehill, Gallus Golf and GolfBook are excited to announce the first annual Golf Operator of the Future seminar at this year’s PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando. The #FutureGolfOps seminar will take place Thursday, January 25th at the Orange County Convention Centre in room W309 from 3:30pm to 5:00pm.
The future of golf operations necessitates harnessing state of the art technology. Our panel of industry thought leaders will present strategies and proven tactics to help golf operators stay ahead of the curve. Topics of discussion will include ways technology can support your business today and how the industry will evolve in the future. Key topics to be covered:
1. Getting the best insights out of your data
2. Mobile experience innovation
3. Best practices with internet tee times and marketing
4. Benefiting from cloud based club management solutions
Pellucid’s Jim Koppenhaver will moderate a panel of thought leaders in their respective areas: Stuart Lindsay of Edgehill Golf Advisors, Jason Wilson with Gallus Golf, Scott Merchant with GolfBook, and Matt Welliver with Chronogolf. The panel is comprised of industry veterans with over 50 years of combined experience in the golf and technology industries.
The seminar is replacing the afternoon “State of the Industry” session held by Pellucid in past years. The conference is already filling up so reserve your spot as soon as possible.
Of the inaugural conference, moderator Jim Koppenhaver stated “We’ll discuss what technology is essential vs. interesting and bring executed examples vs. theory.”
Matt Welliver, VP of Chronogolf added “With the fast moving pace of technology, I feel educating course operators is paramount for them to ensure their business is setup for success. With so much changing so fast, this can lead to confusion and it is our job as technology leaders to clearly provide a path to get there.”
