NORWALK, Conn. (January 15, 2018) – The Performance Textile Fair at the 2018 PGA Merchandise Show, Jan. 23-26, in Orlando, Florida, features more than 40 globally curated mills and factories specializing in performance and technical fabric, complimentary educational seminars and a new industry networking event. The Performance Textile Fair is held simultaneously to the 65th PGA Merchandise Show at the Orange County Convention Center and is opening one day earlier in 2018, on Tuesday, Jan. 23.

In its third year as a textile sourcing event to complement the golf industry’s annual MAJOR of Golf Business, the Performance Textile Fair offers an opportune marketplace for apparel CEOs, sourcing professionals and product development executives to connect with international textile companies showcasing the latest trends and developments in athletic fabrics and golf-related apparel.

In addition to comprehensive textile exhibits, the event also includes complimentary education seminars, where attendees will be able to learn about new technology and innovation; trade/duty savings opportunities; compliance issues in new markets and near sourcing; and Made in the USA opportunities.

A new Material Science Center located within the Performance Textile Fair will showcase the latest fabric innovations and technologies within illuminated wall displays, while offering attendees the opportunity to touch and feel swatches from key product developers.
